THE CHESNAYE TRIO is named after Chateau Chesnaye in Normandy, the trio’s first rehearsal venue where Anne Tupling has given recitals at the kind invitation of the Gillham family. Anthony plays with a number of chamber ensembles and is principal ‘cellist with Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra. He plays a Benjamin Banks instrument dated 1774.
