Celebrated not only for his virtuosic displays at the piano but also for his sensitive and unique interpretations, Adrian Oldland has established himself as an exciting and formidable performer on the concert platform.

In 2008 Adrian was successful in gaining a place to study at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, where he completed his BMus (Hons) and Master’s (MMus) degrees studying under Alexander Ardakov. While at Laban Adrian was performed  in concerts, master classes and competitions. Whilst only in his second year, he was winner of the prestigious  Alfred Kitchin Piano Competition (2010), playing works by Schumann.

Since completing his studies, Adrian has embarked on an international career, performing in  Russia, Germany, Austria, Portugal and Italy.

Amongst the awards he has received, the following are particularly notable:-

2nd prize, «XXI Century Art» Competition, Madeira.
3rd prize, «XXI Century Art» Competition, Austria.
4th prize in the 23rd Dmitri Kabalevsky International Piano Competition, Russia.

Adrian has participated in many master classes with distinguished pianists such as Peter Donohoe, Melvyn Tan and William Howard, and currently enjoys a busy career, performing regularly across the UK and throughout Europe. His repertoire stretches from Bach to the Twentieth Century with a particular interest in the life and works of Robert Schumann.

He is competing in several high profile International competitions this year and is very happy to have the opportunity to perform works from his current programme, which includes Liszt, Chopin, Beethoven, Schumann and Glinka.

Highlights this year include performances of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 and a solo recital at Colditz castle, Germany.
