Rhiannon is a Soprano from Shropshire, currently in her final year at Leeds College of Music studying for BA (Hons) in Classical Music, under the guidance of Jane Anthony. From a young age Rhiannon competed in a number of local music festivals in Shropshire, winning Singer of the Year and Musician of the Year a number of times at Much Wenlock Live Arts Festival, and Outstanding Vocalist at Minsterly Eisteddfod.
In 2010 Rhiannon competed in the Llangollen International Eisteddfod and reached the final, winning third place in the 15-20 years vocal solo. Rhiannon has also performed at the Much Wenlock Christmas Fayre,; she has been invited to sing there for six years!.
In September 2011 Rhiannon performed in the art song festival, Leeds Lieder + , premiering a modern composition in the Composers and Poets Forum and was invited on two occasions to sing a recital at the Leeds Lieder + Troubadours concert season. She was awarded the Margaret Markland Choral Award in November 2011, leading to a place in the Yorkshire Philharmonic Chorus and performance in the Leeds College of Music Prize Winner’s Recital.
In March 2012 Rhiannon performed in The Marriage of Figaro, playing the role of Barbarina with a new Leeds based opera company, Opera Venture. After graduation from Leeds, Rhiannon hopes to study a Masters degree in Performance at Conservatoire.
Chris McKeon is a London born light baritone currently studying in his final year at Leeds College Of Music under the vocal tuition of Jane Anthony. Recent solo performances include premiering a new composition as part of the Leeds Lieder + Composers Consortium, a recital in the Leeds Lieder + Troubadours concert season and a solo with the Yorkshire Philharmonic Chorus in Wakefield Cathedral. In March 2012 Chris performed in The Marriage of Figaro, playing the role of Figaro with the newly formed opera company Opera Venture.
